six hours from my own
in chicago it was everywhere people everywhere coats people with coats. people, coats, boots, scarves, feet. people people everywhere people, and a blinding glimpse of a completely different life. throngs of consciousness that look right through the rest.
but i wish i could go back in winter and watch the people who have worn knife blades on ice since they could walk exhaling ice crystals with stars reflected in their pupils.
